The Schiappa Glass Vases, which come in a set of two, are made of mouth-blown glass with a black surface onto which a mottled layer of multicolor glass has been added as it was being blown. to create an additional layer of artistry, a thick adhesive tape has been applied in a crisscross pattern that is sand blasted to remove the multicolor layer and reveal a black grid-like overlay.
